The Youth Health Forum is a network of over a hundred young leaders from across Australia who work together to determine and champion youth perspectives on the current health system.
We are a diverse group of young people and not health policy experts, but experience matters. Youth Health Forum members are aged 18 — 30 and use the health and social care system or represent people who do. Our views highlight key areas that will help shape the health of Australians in the future.
Imagine getting access to Australia’s leaders and making a real difference!

Applications are closing on October 5 to be part of the Australian Government’s new Australian Youth Council which will give young people the chance to work with government leaders and contribute to important policies – all expenses paid!
This is a really awesome opportunity for young health consumers so CHF has organised a free webinar to help you write and polish your application, ask questions and hear first-hand from the Minister for Youth, Dr Anne Aly.
And even if you’re not ready to apply for this role, our free webinar will help give you the skills and confidence to apply for other advocacy positions so you can amplify your voice and change the world for the better.
All you have to do is click on the link below, tune in next Thursday and listen. No pressure, no need to even speak – but this just may be the first step to getting your voice heard and making a difference for all young people. This session is specifically aimed at participants aged 12 to 25.
In the meantime, click here to find out more info on the new Australian Youth Council and how to apply.
Speakers: The Hon Dr Anne Aly MP, Minister for Youth, Australian Government
Dr Elizabeth Deveny, Interim CEO, CHF
Roxx MacDonald, CHF board member and leading youth advocate
